Also, do people us the terms "zenki" "chuki" and "kouki" to designate minor revisions on the same chassis as people do with AE86s and S chassis?
No man. ####, no man. I believe you'd get your ### kicked for sayin' sumthin' like that, man.

I'm in the minority with you too. I like the new front end. The lines just flow better now and the car looks more classic looking. You don't ever hear any of the Nismo owners saying, "I wish my car had fangs." Hell, half the people with fangs black them out anyway so you can't see them. I remember back in '09 and '10, fangs were being made fun of.

I also like the new 19" wheels. I read in the Intro section that a new member wrote that the wheels reminded them of flowers...... They remind me if wheels that kick humongous ***.

The new front look is a total improvement. I like the new wheels and the new colors. The car looks better, smoother overall. There is a very good chance I will order a new metallic red or blue one.

Coupe/Sport/7AT just like the one I have now. The more I see my current front end the less I like it.

i thought this was interesting... i read in the japanese press release on their NISMO Z while the out put is still 355PS (350hp) the ECM has been tweaked to improve acceleration and low to mid end torque

Quote:
In the 2012 model to evolve the settings of the ECM, while maintaining the highest output of the previous model, improved torque and acceleration response plus low to medium speed

I wonder if those LED can be mounted into an Amuse front? Like, if you bought a 2013 and put on the Amuse kit.

OK having no fangs isn't bothering me and doesn't looks bad as I first had thought but those LEDs are not for me........I like the curves on both sides at the front and the added lights take away from that. IMO the LEDs should have been OEM in the headlight in the landing strip if they were going to add any!

OP - cooltoy- for removing and remounting the LEDs into a AMUSE kit, yes it would be possible. Just take out the whole light and be careful to not break them when disconnecting . Instal your kit (make appropriate spot for mounting lights ) put the lights back in and plug in the harness! I am 99.9% sure that they will have a harness and you can just take out the LEDs for just such an event like changing front bumpers etc....

I was thinking of putting them into the side vents on the Amuse.

No, you guys aren't, you're in the silent majority

I really like the new front, thus I have a 13 sport/pkg on order. Went to look at the new 13's yesterday and they are sweet
