To Mod Or Not To Mod???
I have a huge dilemma. I'm starting to get the mod bug, but I just can't get past how great she looks stock! There's a part of me that says just leave her alone, she'll look GREAT rolling down the highway. Then, the other half wants to start with drop springs and exhaust. Just wondering if any others on the board have had this same thought?

There are simple mods you can do which will keep the car looking as it does but enhance some features.
Springs/Coilovers are a great way to make it a little more aggressive stance, and combined with some spacers you will keep the stock look of wheels. If you want a little more sound out of the exhaust, you can put on some high flow cats and this will retain the OEM exhaust but add a bit of growl.

If you want to be close to stock then I think you should just do:
- Drop - Spacers - Exhaust You'll have a more agressive stance, slightly better handling and better exhasut note all while retaining a lot of the beauty of the Z in stock form

I do not want to change the looks either. I do want more performance. Look at my sig to see what I've done and would do again.
I could drop it more but not for my local roads.

Of course most of the members here are going to tell you to mod it. I'd drive the car for a few thousand miles before deciding what you want to enhance.

Most mods you do can be reversed if you get tired of them/need to sell.

I modified nothing until I had too (oil cooler) and then found the body roll could be improved. I tried each mod for a couple weeks before adding another. When I was satisfied I stopped.

I would like to do some small things to her, just to make her mine like Doug posted. I took her out today and the exhaust is PERFECT! K&N twin intakes is all but it sounds sweet! I'm working on a project for the sunglass cubby. If it ever takes shape, I'll share with everyone.
