Have you try to put the OEM bulb back on and see if it work? At least you can find out it's the problem of the bulbs or if the Z electrical system cannot handle the new bulbs, sometimes it happens with aftermarket bulbs, they draw too much current from the car.

It could very well possibly that it is your bulbs. I ordered mine from HIDRetroFitSource of their Morimoto D2s 6000Ks and one side was working, but the other side would turn on for a few seconds and flicker off. So I had the other side replaced twice and they did not work. I tried putting the OEM bulbs back on and what do you know, they work. So it was a problem with the bulbs. However, I do not want to imply message to people out there that every aftermarket bulbs or Morimotos do not work or something because it works for a lot of other people, just did not work for me. I ended up getting refund for it. I say try the Philips D2S 6000ks because our OEMs are Philips. They are kinda expensive though, but quality bulbs.

thats great to know. so maybe ill leave the phillips as an alternative knwoing that they are more pricey and try ordering the morimotos. if they work, great! if not ill jus get a refund like u did and purchase phillips. do you currently have phillips on ur car?

Yeah, try those Morimotos I have no idea why they didn't work on one side of my car, but it didn't work lol. In order for you to get a refund from them, you have to keep trying and getting replacements as they have policy of no refunds. I don't have philips on my car except the OEMs which ARE philips lol. I'm planning to try those out later, not sure when though. Good luck with Morimotos if you order them! Order from their Ebay account and make offer of 30 bucks and they take that. I tried lower, they wouldn't haha. FYI.

It could be that when you put them in the slot, and put the pins back in place, and put back the silver cap that one of them are misaligned or not making contact with the bulb. This happened to me when I put in my HID bulbs, and they would flicker and turn off. So I just re adjusted them and they worked.

My tester loved ours so we will be adding these to the line up. Expect them in about 1 week. No issues with installation either

I recently had the same problem as I ordered some D2S Morimoto 3Five (35W) bulbs from theretrofitsource.com and neither one turned on. They said they dont have a refund but they do exchanges.

They said only OEM bulbs work in these headlights. The ones they recommended were:
D2S: Osram Xenarc 66240 CBI - HID Bulbs from The Retrofit Source Inc
D2S: Philips 85122+ - HID Bulbs from The Retrofit Source Inc

Buy from jwmotoring! I bought a set and love them...i went with 8k as i wanted more blue tint. Theyre awesome! Very bright and no issues whatsoever! Also.....theyre a stoopid good deal!! So order multiple pairs to change up the style whenever you want! Haha
And you will be supporting a forum sponsor!

I was having similar problems when I switched to 6K before putting my car away for winter. I ordered a relatively cheap set on Ebay to try out 6K and it was doing all kinds of weird things....not coming on, one side would come on, come on and if I turned the car on then off, lights would not come on...frustrating...especially getting to the bulb is annoying if leaving the wheels on.

I will probably buy a more expensive set, seems the 6K was really needed after painting my headlights though...my lights looked more dull with the dark housing, 6K is amazing!

I'll check out JWMotoring then
