Since I have CAI and there was heavy rain yesterday, looks like filter got wet.
I complained about this to maneger but he told me it will be fine, once the filters get dried.

Am i too worrying? Should i recharge the filters with oil?

In Seoul? There's hardly anyplace to park anything in that tiny lot. It wouldn't hurt to clean and re-oil the filters. I'm assuming you have the Stillen Gen 3 CAI?

I wouldn't get too upset about it.

Agreed, water isn;t going to hurt them since thats what is used to clean them. I'd just clean and re-oil.

My bad I must have missed his Z during the DMZ tour. I put 100 won into the binoculars and all I saw was a big North Korean flag.

What if they start the engine eventhough the filters are still wet condition?

depends if it's really wet it might just dirty up the MAF sensor or end up hydro-lock. only takes like a table spoon of water i heard.

if i were you, i would bring another set of cones or take off the cones and inspect the inside if it's wet. shake it around real hard and blow air from inside out.

+1

Just get another filter, as long as it wasn't started it should be fine.

Maybe try to contact Stillen and they could send you another set?

STILLEN : Contact Us

Although, as long as everything is throughly dry you should be alright. I don't think the Stillen is an oiled filter so water won't destroy it.
