Nothing like a cruise with a Z friend.
Me and my bud decided to take a cruise out to Rhode Island today. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, for those of you in the Northeast if you ever want good cruising roads, with minimal traffic, and great scenic views then I would recommend these roads.
We took 6 east from Coventry, CT (UCONN Storss area, great smooth roads) almost all the way to Warwick,RI. With a little bit of 295 south. Stopped by at Hooters had lunch. Then came back on US-44 (amazing roads and scenery). Duration of the trip was 2 hours 30 min in total. We stopped by at a few places and took some pics. Here are some from one of the spots  http://www.the370z.com/members/nmjax...e44396-993.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/nmjax...e44395-992.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/nmjax...e44394-991.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/nmjax...e44397-994.jpg |

Isn't it amazing that we are driving our Zs on Feb 4 in the northeast (Unless you are on snow tires). I found it hard to believe myself, it felt like a late March early April day. (the snow tires on my other car and my snowblower are mocking me everyday)

Good friends, great cars, nice scenery!

I'm planning on going back home to NY this summer by driving my Z up there. The only thing that has me nervous is parkin my car on the street. I'm not even trying to leave my car in manhattan either in one of those weeklong $400 parking lots. Then you have dudes sittin on ya car n drinkin like its ok. People don't respect property in Brooklyn. That's what I don't miss about NY. Damn. I think I'm gettin used to texas life too much too fast. Lol. |
