streetbob Base Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: british columbia Posts: 19 Drives: 2009 370z Rep Power: 14	loud knocking hey there ,just started up my newly purchased z, i bought it 2 months ago haven't driven it yet. winter here.it' been cold for about a month so i decided to start it up. a bit of a slow crank and then a horrible knocking sound, sounded like i had no oil. i understand it takes a bit for the oil pump to do its thing but.... wow sounded bad for about 2 or three seconds . any thoughts. let it run for about 5 min seemed fine
