So my federal tax return came back, and it turns out it is the EXACT amount as the Avant Garde M310s with tires shipped to my front doorstep.

It is exact down to the dollar, which blew my mind. Time to get in contact with Getyourwheels.

Just wanted to share.

Funny some people do not realize you should never give the goverment an interest free loan. I would take a monthly savings over 12 months in my own account before I would give the Feds a free loan. At the end of the year go by whatever I need. But thats just me. :tiphat:

Thats what I said when my tax return ended up nearly matching the cost of an exhaust and HFC package. A friend then emailed me something similar to the following so I'm passing along the Good Word:

Haha. I have like the exact amount needed for a Stage 2 TT kit between the student loan and tax return. Now I don't want to spend it lmao. So far I've bought a Viper 5901 alarm system. My room mate loves his on his 370Z so I picked one up for $200. Now I'm looking at the Evo-R fog light but I can't justify $100+ on a light bulb.

Also, considering getting a used mint condition R6/R1/GSXR600-1000 and playing with the left over money and maybe get some TE37's for the car.

Can the car gods send you a sign to get a better set of wheels than Avant Garde's?

haha yea theres no way im dropping 5 grand on Volks...and i tried getting a used set of SSR type f but that always involved me trading my rays away + cash. I know im gonna be happy with the m310s and i get to keep my Rays so i can always go back.

Not really any need to know you. Huge tax refunds just mean you let the government use your cash for the entire year. For free. I guess if you are cool with that, that's all that matters. :tup:

Yah, I remember back in the day I was able to buy a full three piece set of lightweight BBS-type wheels for my BMW for $400 per wheel, and I thought it was outlandish! I'd be so lucky to get away with that today! :ugh2:

I get scared doing that. I claimed S/0 for all but 3 checks last year and filed for less than $1K of MY money back. Went through my CPA, so I know it wasn't an oversight on my part.

Yes i E-filed on 28-Jan and the funds are being deposited 4-Feb so one week wait time.

You have to enter social, status, and the exact amount your supposed to get.

I'm pretty stoaked about getting my return back. I spent a pile of money on my rental units and can claim a HUGE loss. ... After I think about it... I could purchased two top notch turbo systems for my car with the money spent :(
