Great points. The 370 has been out for a while so a lot of people who've had them from the beginning are moving on to something else. And then there are the crazy car guys like Modshack (60 cars now?) and others (myself included) that are always buying new cars, tinkering with them, then moving on to a new adventure.

All I know is I love my car....seriously. I love the history the Z has. I know there some things I'd like to see an improvement on in the power department. But it doesn't really matter in the end. It's a great looking car that I don't see a dime a dozen on the road. I know one thing, if a lot of the people here would track there car from time to time you would have much more to smile about.

Either they can't afford it, or they are just not smart giving up the Z for something inferior. I've driven the STi, Evo, Camaro SS, Mustang 5.0, you name it and they are just missing something that the Z feels slightly better. I've also driven a GTR and this car just seems like the baby brother. Also the rarity and heritage goes along with that.

You can't point your finger and say "this is the reason why" there's way too many factors. I see more used camaros on car lots than civics! When the 370 came out I knew I'd never own one and completly wrote it off. Now I'll prolly have it for it's entire life!

Topically when you buy a new car it takes about 2.5-3 years of payments to get out from under the negative equity. I know my payoff is now below ACV (actual cash value). May will be 3 yrs for me.

I thought most people put enough cash down such that they'd never be underwater on their loans?
