Where to purchase tow-hook and which to get

I was wondering if anyone knew of a site that sold painted tow-hooks that directly bolt into the stock (25mm?) position up front. The reason I'm asking is because I've searched google and all I seem to find are "kits" or "universal" hooks that don't fold down for less goofiness.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: To clarify, I want a painted tow hook that is just the hook itself, and that folds down. Thank you.

I think a lot of guys get them from ebay. I believe there good quality, not sure.

Edit. Just checked. There's plenty your looking for.

Was I correct in the sizing? I guess what I'm asking is what should i be looking for that will be as minimal (not the whole kit since it's already drilled) as possible and fit correctly.

This folds down, and is listed for the 370Z

GTM also makes one but its around $159 I think

I just dipped my stock one in a few coats of Red Plasti-Dip :)

I would never have my car towed with one of those $20 eBay ones. If you do want to get one of those just for looks, make sure you switch it out for the stronger stock one before you need it towed, other wise eBay hook will prob just snap.

i get paranoid about people backing up into my car so i had the stock tow hook painted black to match the grill and screwed it in about 70% of the way in so it sticks out further so people can't own my bumper. so far it's working this past year cause i can see paint scuffs on the tip

there's GTM ebay copies that are $50

So what size is it supposed to be? 23mm or 25mm?

luigi90210 08-01-2013 09:05 PM

get an ebay one

its cheap and its functional(unless you get the ones the honda guys get that dont actually bolt to the frame of the car)

Shoot, I just made mine mainly just for looks. I wanted some custom shape that nobody had...putting pics up in the general discussion board if anyone wants to see. Heres one of the finished pix from last night.

Im going to but not sure of size.

The P-tuning tow hook is neat because you can hot swap between the tow hook and a front license plate mount in less than 5 minutes plus it also can mount a GoPro. Downside is that it's a little pricey.
