grannying the Z

As you guys know I have the 11 Z a7 and I'm a strong proponent of driving a sports car like a sports car. But this month is a little tight financially so I decided to see if I can get better mileage out of my Z.
Under my normal fun-drive conditions I averaged about 11city/20highway, leaving me around 17.1mpg's total. It seemed my 09 was able to pop out 19mpg's under the same fun drive standard.
It seemed when I grannied the 09 I only received 1.5mpg's more than when having fun so I drove it funstyle most of the time. That's why I have an altima. For normal driving anyway.
Gas prices though are pretty high and christmas plus a few unforseen events have made me cut back on gas useage and try to conserve more gas in mt Z. I'm actually pulling out 21mpg city and 31mpg highway for a combined drive of 25.6mpg's. Something my 09 Z or G couldn't do.

now once the budget is back to normal. Its back to normal driving. But I'm just glad to know my Z can also be an economical gas saver if I try hard to do so.
