Kenchan what would you do?? Can I prove in any way that they replaced it with a new one?? Since mine is a B is that proof enough or are there still ones with B being shipped??

Or do I just act like I know nothing and wait for it to fail again??

No, they should not be shipping B units anymore. They have been superseded by C, which was superseded by D. From my understanding, the B units are still susceptible to failure.

Is there a manufacture date on the sticker?

does your invoice state the part that was replaced?

if not, i would go back to the dealer and ask to show you the steering lock they pulled out of the car. i guess that's one way to tell if they swapped it or not.

dont know the inventory levels at the nissan service warehouses so do not know how many RevB's are still out there.

if they did not swap it out it will probably fail again soon so just be on the look out i guess... use a sharpie or something to mark a dot or something on the corner somewhere. (this is sounding like a jiffylube investigation i saw on TV... lol )
