Unfortunately, however, this also means we can no longer be friends as I think it's extremely unfair that my local dealer (not the place where I bought the car) is the edifical (not a real word beeteedubs) embodiment of Judas Iscariot mixed with Kesha - and I'm pretty sure when my steering lock goes, they'll probably just tape a bag of tootsie rolls onto my steering wheel, claim that it's fixed, and charge me my first born for the so-called repair.

Got my Z back today. Only at the dealership 3 total days. Hope it doesn't happen again!!

I would go look under your steering column and just double check and make sure you got latest version steering lock (RevC or RevD)

Yep, that's correct. That was in my car. still working fine when I took it off though and replaced with RevC for the time being.
