Not a deal if you know your way around a garage. It's about a 2 on a 1-10 scale with 10 being most difficult. You will get a cleaner install if you use a 2" sanding drum on a power drill to enlarge the holes in the radiator support rather than just hacking away at it. Also, be sure to install (per the Stillen directions) the rubber/vinyl shielding on the AC piping.

The pipes scratch easily so it's a good idea to cover the pipes (except where they go into the connectors) in delicate surface (for easy removal) blue masking tape to prevent scratches. Keep polishes, solvents and cleaners off of the "Stillen" stickers or you could dull/smear them.

Looks like you've got all of your answers here, however my two cents. I installed my K&N intake system a few months ago. Install is no problem with basic tools. Just take your time and read ahead in the install manual. Sound is so good that I may not even need a CBE system. GOOD LUCK!!!

SO if you know for sure you plan to do a CBE or something, then the CAI may not be worth it for the gains. That being said, there will still be gains, so whether or not it is worth it totally up to you. Read up on it, there are tons of threads on CAIs, CBE, HFCs and their combinations. I personally didn't think the cost was worth it for the CAI after having the CBE and HFCs put on so I just dropped some K&Ns in. Your opinion may be different.

Yezzzirr. CBE and test pipe or hfc first. Post mafs and filter will finish it off lovely with a savongs of up to $300. Which you can put toward some swifts.
