Default funny anecdote

I’m with my g/f in my 370, just cruising, taking it easy on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon. And this guy, in his brand new 911 has to play with me. He intentionally slows down on my right, checking me out. At first I thought it was just traffic, but realize that there’s like a ¼ mile straight ahead of him. There’s a car in front of me, but despite all this, I’m mature and wouldn’t have acted rash even if my g/f wasn’t with me. Anyways, I thought he was checking out my lady at first (I don’t tint windows and my lady’s gorgeous), but this guy instead has an inferiority complex. I’m thinking in my head, while cracking a cynical grin at this chump, “gosh, you must be going through a midlife crisis or something?” I mean c’mon, he’s got a car that costs about 3x, isn’t really faster nor a better handler, his hair seemed thinning atop, and he didn’t have a passenger in his 911.

Anyways, to sum up the story, he punches it slightly and I change lanes to catch up to him. We finally roll up to a red light at a residential intersection, I’m looking and smiling at him, he’s tense and won’t look back. I taunt him by revving, my girl tells me, “stop it!” I’m smiling at her telling her to calm down and watch this. It turns green, we go at it: 1st, 2nd I let off at 50mph (the speed limit is 45 on this street). This guy accelerates like a bat outta hell, he’s probably at 100 in several seconds. Sure enough, about ½ a mile down the street, Mr. motorcycle-cop pulls the same guy over, I can see him with his hands raised up defensively as he’s arguing with the cop. As I roll by, I rubber-neck it while smiling sardonically at this insecure individual.

Moral of story: let insecure morons on the street ruin their own days. And uhh…don’t street race, leave that for the track.

Have a nice day peeps!

That is pretty funny. I too find nothing wrong with a quick 1-2 up to about 50 or so but people doing way over the speed limit cutting through traffic and stuff is just stupid. Poor old man.

Wearing a bikini. That's the only real way to pose next to a car.

I like the story it made me laugh.. This guy in my company has a huge complex, he bought a 135i and talks **** to me all the time asking me whats the top I got her up to. He is like I got mine up to 130 mph. I was like come on thats just dumb, are you trying to go to jail. In Hawaii if you go 20 over its automatic straight to jail do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Its a shame people can not just enjoy their cars and not be dumb asses on city streets..
