How metallic is brilliant silver?

Hello,

Just a quick question, how metallic is the brilliant silver? Would you say it is close to the amount that gun metallic has?

Thank you,
Miller

I have GM and it's really metallic and I feel it's the only other proper metallic color other
than the white. Otherwise I'm not sure if I'm correct but the Beilliant silver may not be metallic at all and I think it's the same paint off other Nissan's like the Maxima and Altima vehicles which is just plain silver. I think every color other than GM and white is non metallic.

Well let's see, when my Z was silver. I would wash polish and wax. When the sun would hit it directly on a bright day. It was hard to look at directly. The car is pretty bright in light. In the dark with light hitting it. The silver becomes milky, almost can be confused with white if the light is yellow. The metallics will distort to make the car look pearl whitish. But next to pearl white you can tell its silver in that situation. I would say brilliant silver is very bright without the metallics being big noticeable chunks.

Hope that was a good answer?

It's shiny and you can definitely see the flakes in direct sunlight.

Actually... brilliant silver I thee shiniest of Z colors and has lots of small metallic chips. As far as pearl white being a proper color??? It was designed for the more luxurious cars and thrown on the Z. A proper white would be a polar or arctic white imho. Pearl white. Nice on a G. Sux on a Z. I had a white G so I might be bias... but I couldn't bring myself to buying the white Z. It was like a lux color on a sports car. Pretty wack.

In direct sunlight it sparkles strongly. Under fluorescent lighting it can look similar to a polished metal. A close relative to this color was the Z33's "Liquid Aluminum." I'd say it's very metallic.
