Air Deflectors on the 370Z Roadster

Question... Have anyone removed the air deflectors in front of the tires? Notice any changes to the ride? Thanks!

Is that the same piece as on the coupe? If so its there for aerodynamics to improve fuel economy... so they say.

I dont use mine since I have a Ings splitter.

Have not seen the coupe in person. Just got this 2012 370z two months ago. Had a Santa Fe. Love the car but rub the Air Deflectors in the driveway going and coming.
