Mr.kenchan, 10mm or 15mm is what I am thinking, are you thinking the chances of the tires hitting the wheel-well over big bump if I go for 15-20mm with stock-spring(too soft)???

Thanks for your advice LMBmikeZ, I am going with H&R for sure.

I fixed the spelling too. LOL

Morning Mr. Alcheng!

I tried measuring the gap last night but couldn't get accurate measurements (1 am = ....) I'll try your method today. Based on what others have done here I think front is 15 mm max on stock rays. I don't like poke and I don't want rock chips everywhere either from too much tire coming out.

For the rear I'm leaning at 15mm, but want to get a more accurate measurement before I pull the trigger. if feel like the perfect spacer for the rear would actually be about 17.5 mm haha

hey ZMan8, have you lowered your Z??

I am a bit bias to 15mm with my rims, I don't have the stock RAYS you know, but wanna see if kenchan's comments on the consideration I have on the 15mm.

Not yet, I plan to get Swifts + Koni yellows but figured its better to get spacers first than lower first (If i plan to do one a time)

In a year or two, I may just buy nice wheels with the correct offsets (it's just hard right now to justify spending $800-$1000 per wheel)

eh?
Oh ya, thats right alcheng, you have Vossen's right?

I was going to say for sure if its stock, I would do what I and LMBmikeZ suggested, 20/25 but with aftermarket, its trickier.

I see that z1 has like 3mm spacers you can add to a 10 or 15

no, it wont hit anything with 15mm (may be 20mm), just the matter of balance in appearance.

if you're not going to lower your car 20mm spacers will give it a nice poke in the front. rear 20mm spacers will have poke. but again, the stock RE050A's are narrow tires (same size) compared to say the ContiDW's so it will look too narrow with poke on the rear especially if not lowered.

i recommend 15/10 (front/rear) or 15/15 (front/rear) spacers max on stock ride, sport 19's.

Kenchan is the spacer guru

No 20's for the front i for sure. And I'm think 15mm for rear should be good.

It's interesting you recommend even 10 mm for rear. Seems like 98% go 20mm or 25mm in the rear. But I dont want poke especially on narrow tires.

EDIT: I will evaluate if I want to lower/how much once I see how the car sits with spacers

hi zman- yah, the car just looks werd with narrow tires with wide stance unless it's lowered. then the added camber kinda blends the lines better tucking the tires inwards.. but to me, still looks kinda werd.
