Dude, I'm not ashamed to admit that I had a Miata, and in my opinion it tied with the Z as far as fun-to-drive factor. It didn't have much power (107 hp IIRC) but I could do the cloverleaf exit off of the highway at 65-70 mph on cheap cheap rubber. It's basically a huge go kart, extremely fun to drive.
A friend of mine has a newer mazdaspeed Miata with a turbo on it, consistently hitting 10's all day long.

Heya Mr.kenchan, yes, I do have the Winter car, but I always like to drive the Z as much as I can, especially if the temp is warm, it's my DD in spring and summer....

mm.. maybe I'll just wash it and garage it til Sat when the weather turns sunny again...

that sounds like an excellent plan!

if you have a shop vac or leaf blower, i recommend blowing the water off the car as much as you can to prevent drips and corrosion.
