I thought that the Koni's would be rougher than they are. I have driven 100 miles on them now and, for normal driving, they are just a tad bumpier than stock. Hard cornering (in controlled, non-public environments) is a different story. Not to be cliche, but they are night and day superior.

I have the rears exactly in the middle and the fronts 1/4 turn from the midpoint (toward the firm side). I am staying with these setting for a week or so and re-evaluate. I am thinking another 1/4 turn firm for both front and rear ends, but let's see how it goes.

sounds good! the dampers do need time to get the airbubbles out so i would keep it soft for a good 500miles then stiffen up.

Koni Yellows are good stuff. At full soft I believe they are a tad firmer than the OEM dampers, but they do a tremendously better job at, well, damping, so they ride smoother.

I like to start out at full soft and work my way firmer (that's what she said). Full stiff is usually too hard (that's also what she said). Somewhere in the middle is usually just right (again, it was she that said it).

BTW: Colin (onzedge jr.) test drove the Z following the Koni install yesterday and I got to listen to him winding up through the gears as he took off down the road. I want to mention that the Berk CBE sounds very sweet. I hardly ever get to hear it outside the car and it was a nice treat.

As for the ZdayZ m4 has assured me that I would not be the only one without a Nissan Z there. He has a mustang and is taking it. I do feel that I do qualify cause mine is a Z(L1) just like it is an import cause it is made in Canada eh?
