they work together as a system to cancel out noise to make the particular tone for your exhaust system so it's hard to say which is louder. it's more of a cancellation system if you know wat i mean. if you ever fired up a car with no resonators or muffler you will know how loud your car really is. hahaha.

I received my guage overlay today...so one more thing to add to my "get done" list next week for when I roll the car out
Crossing fingers on a deal for some Motordyne ART pipes for a guy who "might" part out

Had the 3M venturashield installed today. Front, headlights, hood, A-pillars, fenders, door edges, rear trunk lift area. $650. Looks good and I hope it holds up!

Those two pictures are from Top Speed, which is what I am looking at right now, and one is with the resonator, which is the one with that pendant.
The price is about my range and the sound is quite good. Quote:
The reason why I want to understand what is the difference is I don't want to have a loud exhaust note from my car, sometimes I would like to enjoy the audio system or having conversation in the cabin. |

mr.alcheng- yah, i dont like loud exhausts either. it just makes it too noisy and tiring after a while...especially after the honeymoon period.
ordered up a couple of cleaning supplies and clay from griots tonight. so far weather looks pretty good for Sat. might even get to motor my Z on Sun. woooooot! |
