Just sold my floor mats. More weight savings. Man I have OCD when it comes to this. I like it.

So I moved the car..Went around the block.

Did floor it on a rolling start...Hmmmm...

It sure does seem slower...It does wind up nicely.

Also I left the traction on...maybe that had something to do with it.

the 350z was faster feeling..

the Z/28 will make you poo your shorts..

So I am going to have to assume it is smoother..

Smoother, and definitely need to turn off VDC flooring it from a roll or stop (VDC really likes to cut power). Just don't crash it like all the other members who couldn't handle VDC off... lol

And make sure the AC is off! That **** drains HP

Haha..I will test another time..

Mini Vinnie D, has died and gone to heaven.. I have two new cars to test.

I will have to get used to each again..

The Z/28 is just mad torque, noise, rubber, and pee-pee..If you let it fly...

But I am loving the 370Z. I have only put an 1/8 of a mile so far.. I live my life 1/8 of a mile at a time ...

Yes, with the traction control off, the 350Z would get silly..

I cannot wait to put some real miles on the 370z..cruising, cornering, paddle shifting...The 350 auto/manual was a lagging mess...

Yup, it needs a cleaning. That's ok tho, you'll get it done in good time. Gotta ask tho: What's with the sideways pictures? I get a crick in my neck staring at 'em!

Ok guys... a few more questions about the knob.. LOL

After I remove the stock knob, does that aluminum spacer just unscrew easily?

Will the o-rings that come with the knob be enough to stop the boot from drooping?

And do you suggest I re-apply loctite? I'd rather not.. but would it loosen?

I put it up to motivate me...i told my wife that the "new Guys" on the Z forum are brutal, haha.

I will show progress soon.. you are seeing it AFTER a major sale, I gave rims away, and my sisters crap got surprise dumped on her at christmas....Merry christmas, here is your crap you left for two years plus, haha..

On the power test today in the 370Z...I get that we did not buy a Corvette and i also know it is the balanced package that is killer..

I won't have the most power on the track with my Z/28, but i am betting on outbraking long term and out handling people...Not just raw power..

Raw power by itself is useless.. but the 370Z is still new to me..The 350Z i would drive traction on or off and just laugh...What a rush that car was..And you can see, my other car is no smart car..well it is smart that i own it,haha

So, the 370Z is a dream car, i just need more time in it...

I know nothing about 370z knobs, but i did have a ford one time during racing the knob came off mid shift coming up to a corner...i straight line braked and did not crash...

So make sure you do whatever you have to , to feel like it it not coming off..
