What did you do with your Z today II

You guys will know when the testing is done... The cool thing about my Z/28 is that although the paint looks killer from 4 feet away, it is 28 years

The cool thing about my Z/28 is that although the paint looks killer from 4 feet away, it is 28 years old, and all my money got spent on handling horsepower and engine horsepower, in the last three months..I dropped it off in Zdecember for the Vinnie Diesel treatments..

Sure i will never park in a parking stall , and i park WAY out in the parking lots, but first chips happened in 1985, hahaha..

Yeah the chips hurt. I have small ones that nobody but me would notice on the bumper = don't care its plastic, but I also have 2 on the hood = because I drive way behind others. every chip i Have received came from a pebble that get shot out from cars driving parallel to me

yah, especially in traffic there's really not much you can do. even if one is 3-4 car lengths behind, a rock can kickup from the OPPOSING lane... (this is wat happened to my G 8yrs ago only one week after taking ownership... it's on my front bumper as well. )

Ho hum. My Z's are sitting at home all bundled up. I saw a yellow 370 driving around in Draper, Utah yesterday. I waved, but got a weird look. Maybe it was due to me driving around in my sweet rental Sentra.

I have 1 or 2 small ones like that on my hood.. I cringe whenever I see them, but I tend to ignore them. I haven't touched them up with anything..

As newbie...a.k.a. Mini Vinnie, I see the "core " group here... Glad to be here..

I will try to amuse, and not anger, and offer what laughter i can, as well as stories from the Track..

I will be Autocrossing the Z/28 soon. Still need the helmet and the GoPro.

The Big track events are scheduled for 2013...I need the Seats and the roll bar for triple digit road course runs..

Thunderhill, Infineon...

But if I could track the 370Z.......I would, but I must keep peace at home...So don't plan on anything but some tests and overall feeling I get from the 370Z...

Cool that i have a rocketship to compare the 370Z to...A Really, really LOUD rocketship...

I will bet they are the same on speed, but in a completely different way...which is insane but very cool...He says in a gravelly voice...

I'd love to see the autocross videos of the Z/28!

And if you plan on tracking the Z at all you might want to think about an oil cooler on extended runs.

Brakes, make sure upgrade the brakes too!!! It's a must unless you want to slam the Z into the wall at full speed!!

Yes, even you have Sport-Package, have to change the brake system for track use.

You know , we thought about a Dry sump and cooler, but i will keep an eye on it...

I did not 4 Link the car, or Fuel cell it either.. But Oh man, it is Artwork underneath. Everything is new and prepared by the Best.....haha , Not ME..

There will be heads all under this car at events...Forget the Rims... they will be staring at the parts underneath...Well some of them...To some the rims are everything..Nope. They cover the willwoods..

DUH, what a dork, you are talking about the OIL cooler for the 370Z...DUH ..I am stupid..yes, i have heard about it.Also in hot traffic...We live in hottraffic area....Service manager said hot traffic is ok..not track racing..

So no 370Z autocross, but man to bring both cars ??? OK , now i AM dreaming..reality is cool enough without me wishing the impossible..
