What did you do with your Z today II

Yeah, I'm sure Kenchan will weigh in with regards to PDR. if I'm not mistaken, he's certified in PDR repair.

Good morning Brantly.

Not much to report Z-wise, as I am in a massive crunch at work this week and next.

My Nismo rims arrived at the paint shop yesterday, and I've been told I can pick them up on Friday!

Keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out. Looking forward to seeing the KAE paint code (dark metallic grey) on the rims.

Snowboarding? I suppose that is better than waterboarding.

haha, nono, im not a pro PDR tech, but have been professionally trained and have done work for used car dealers and such as a hobby several years ago to pay for my tools and training.. was a couple of grand.

as for the roof, it can be PDR'ed but since i believe we have an aluminum roof it will be a challenge if the dent is deep. the little acorn dent on mr.onzedge's car should be an easy fix though.

im a pretty competent businessman and i can make hell of a lot more money working from my desk or taking a quick biz trip than sweating my balls off PDR'ing cars so i only do PDR to fix my own cars. plus with kids and my other hobbies i have, i dont have time to do other people's cars now.

yah, i got a xmas present from santa on 12/26 where i was given time to replace my steering lock, try out PWJDM knob, try the removed clutch-helper spring setup while driving on very clean saltless roads. then immediately after i cleaned her up and back into hibernation.

Good Afternoon Mike, Mr. Onzedge and Mr. Kenchan!

So this morning I had to deal with an emergency garage door repair before I could pull the Z out of her bedroom.

Yah, one of the cables for the laser guide system got caught in the opener mechanism and was cut. Had to do a quick splice/crimp job.

That sounds like a great Christmas present to be able to drive the Z so late into winter!

gafternoon, mr. happy. sorry to hear about your garage door. hope all is okay now.

my garage door spring is probably due for repairs in the coming years. while i didnt open the garage door much the first 10yrs of ownership since my dd's were parked outside, i think in the next 5yrs the spring will give away since im using the garage door every day since last June...
