Nissan 370Z Forum

Guys watch this! (LEAF beats 370z)

BWAHAHAHA!! Great job of stirring up the people OP because there is no way a vehicle that reaches 0-60 in 7.9 secs is going to take a Z! Nissan 0-60

Nissan 0-60 Times & Nissan Quarter Mile Times | Nissan Skyline GTR 0-60, Maxima 0-60, Altima SE-R, Murano, 350z, 2012 370z and 2011 Titan 0 to 60 stats!

Oh yeah, and I'd love to see the travesty dealt on a CR-Z by your GTR Billy!

You live in Florida so you don't experience the cold very often, but at 25F on stock tires I would like to see you beat 8 seconds 0-60. Unless the tires have been warmed up you aren't going anywhere quick. Yes, on a real drag strip this would never happen, but consider this a real world reality check the next time you pull up to a Leaf at a red light on a very cold morning

And that's why a lot of states allow you to carry concealed. Heck, if I lost to a Leaf with my Z I would take my own life.

idk..... the Z in the video did not look like it was going full speed, it looked more so like the driver was holding it back to let the leaf win or something.

just my 2 cents

At least they did add this:

Before we get too carried away you have to consider that this is Maine and it is December, so the 370Z had a little trouble getting traction on the cold surface, but we think it was a worthwhile experiment and we had a blast doing it. For more info about Nissan cars, trucks and SUVs, call or stop by Darling's Nissan in Bangor, Maine or visit us online at Darling's Nissan | New Nissan dealership in Bangor, ME 04401.

I agree with earlier marketing comments.

I have Yokohama Advan stock summer tires from 2009, it's almost getting flat, and still using it at this cold weather. however, my $hitty tires do better job than that video! haha! that video is rubbish and complete B@ll$ack!

After getting a Prius for my mom, I was sadly disappointed at its 0-6 performance. It does not in fact pwn all in the 0-6 like Steve had me believe.

Let's see the Tesla and a bolt on modded Z go at it. That would be a fair fight!

Shoot, maybe unmodded.
