Engine brake in on new 370z

Hey guys I just got a new 2012 370z. I love the car already and I have a few questions. What should I do about braking in the engine. Also if you guys have any advice on owning the car in general I would love to get some thanks:D

I drove my Z for 3000km nice and easy to break it in, little shavings in the first oil change (3000km)

I decided to screw the break in period with my Evo. Picked it up at the dealership right off the show room floor, it had 25km on it. Drove around all day, got 300km on it by the evening and went to the drag strip. It's now at 7000km with about 15 runs total at the 1/4 mile and one hpde track event....no signs of damage, less shavings in the oil then the Z and no oil consumption lost.

The whole "break in" period is somewhat ********. The engines are already broken in from the plant when they test it. Do some research and u will find many sites saying break it in how you plan on driving it...ie if u are going to race it, drive it hard when you get it.

That being said, make sure you keep up on the oil changes and inspect everything quite often. I spend a half a day on the car inspection **** before i go to the track, just to make sure nothing will go wrong.

The owner's manual for the car says to keep the car below 4000 rpm for the first 1200 miles. This is what I followed.
