AM Performance and Grand Am 200
 

Anyone know if AM Performance will be running their cars in the Grand Am 200 at Daytona? I know on their website they have it listed as the next event but according to grand-am.com they're not in the entry list for the race. Ever since their debut last year I've been waiting for this race to see the cars up close and personal.

They don't run Grand-Am, they're in the Continental Tire Series, which isn't running at Daytona.

The CTCS is under the Grand-Am banner along with the Rolex series. The Grand Am 200 is the CTCS race on the Friday before the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Doh! Brainfart. I looked at the Daytona website, saw the Grand AM cars and thought, "I'm an idiot."
I sure wanted to go to this event.

Haven't heard much out of them since I saw them at Mid-Ohio. They had a lot of damage to one of the cars and the second one got a decent amount of damage also. That was only 3 1/2 months ago, so it's hard to tell.

I definitely got to say that if you're a fan of racing then this is probably one of the coolest race weekends to go to. I think the only thing that could top this in my mind would be the 24h of Le Mans.
