Since you're pretty good at generalizations, you should put together a list of typical behaviors of drivers of different cars. Lets start with:

370Z
350Z
Camaro
Mustang
C5 Corvette
C6 Corvette
Buick LeSabre
G35
G37
Mercedes C Class
Mercedes E Class
Mercedes S Class
Maxima SV Sport
F150
Ram
Silverado
Each individual variant of the Porsche 911 (available for MY 2011)
Fisker Karma
Elise
Exige
Lincoln Town Car
1948 Tucker Sedan

I look forward to your thoughts.

I know exactly where you're coming from but the fact still remains the car attracts a certain type of driver with a c*ck measuring complex. Truth be told, camaros and challengers G37 and genesis coupe hardly ever play that. Rx8, wrx or miata owners. Nor the classic JDM's like supra older Z's and Rx7's.
You have mustang, bimmer, civic, evo, scion, charger, accord-camry v6 owners all stereotypically act the same way. Not saying every driver of these cars react to us passing or us being in there vicinity, but one out of 3 times one of these brands will hit the dbag tactics on the road. It is what it is- an observation.

How can you even begin to make an assessment like that? Where is the logic?

I definitely expect these kinds of replies from you, but I always find myself wondering how anyone can really come up with stuff like this and say it with a straight face. If you are going to make generalizations and accusations like this you need to back them up with facts, otherwise you're just pulling some idiotic idea out of your ass.

Slow ya roll mustang. The proof is in driving everyday and who's making the aggressive gestures and who isn't. In my neck of the woods, these are the car models that can drive next to me without feeling complexed enough to rev on me. Do fly by's. Ride next to me and look at me in my car. Not tailgate me everywhere I ride. The cars I listed are the ones that will make some kind of negative gesture. That's all the fact I need.

Now AGAIN. I'm not saying every single guy in a bimmer or stang does it. But majority rules when these acts do happen??? Who's in my rear view, on my side trying to look in my window for an invite or doing cut off fly-bys??? Its the above mentioned car models... It is what it is.

I'll give it to you that we all make generalizations... rationally or not. And most of the time they are driven by conscious or subconscious biases.

I will say that I get harassed by 350Zs a lot... but I try to avoid generalizing the car and its drivers because it's a lot like blaming a deadly shooting on the gun. Did the gun kill the victim? No, the criminal that shot the gun did... And whether some young douchebag with enough money to buy a used sports car chooses to be a douche in a Z or a Mustang is really up to chance.

The fact is I encounter douchebag drivers on a daily basis, and sometimes they are in a Z, sometimes a Mustang, BMW, etc... but a douchebag is a douchebag and it doesn't matter what car they drive. If a douchebag Mustang driver traded his car in on a Z that's not going to change how he drives... however it might change how he is perceived by his own kind... just sayin'.

Oh, and I gave a 370Z driver a thumbs up once and he flipped me the bird. Not the car's fault some idiot decided to buy it and parade his douchey *** around town in it all day.

Brother please don't get it twisted. I don't blame the hunk of metal on the road by any means. I do blame the driver inside. All I'm saying is, the car does tend to attract a certain type. I never came across a Z33 dbag but I have met some G35 dbags and I used to own one of those as well as G37. I really don't like the G37 crowd. They are way different from the G35 crowd. It doesn't mean I hate G37's. I went to the Z because I hadn't owned a 2 seater in a decade. I wanted one again. You feel more connected to the road. The Z crowd is a mixed bag too. Plenty of Aholes in our thing. But, I'm not talking about our thing now. We are talking about the outsiders. You know... "your people". Lol.

You have to admit there's always a bit of personal bias that plays a role in how you view certain drivers in certain cars... we're all guilty of that.

My best friend drives a 2012 Mustang GT and he's one of the biggest douches on the road i know, but he drove like that when he was in a Pontiac Boneville too.

I will definitely agree the the behavior is the result of the driver and not the car being driven, but that being said it seems like the Mustang is a very popular car of choice for that type of driver.
