Spacers?

I just got a good deal on some volk GT-30's and the rear is exactly the perfect offset. Their on the vehicle now but thinking about running some spacers to give more of an aggressive look. Do you guys think it would be ok to run spacers or will they be a hassle? I've heard of some complications like viberation issues.

If you buy a quality spacer and install it properly, you will have ZERO problems. I prefer H&R spacers because I've never heard of a single issue with them, ever, and they're reasonably priced. What's the size and offsets on the GT30s? How aggressive are you looking to go? We're in Gilbert (Mesa Dr. and Guadalupe) if you want to swing by some time.

:iagree:

I just installed a set of H&R DRS (stud replacement) spacers - 15mm front/20mm rear - and have ZERO vibration problems. It pays to spend a little extra to get quality parts.

Thanks for the "mini review" :) I know it helps a lot when someone besides a vendor says good things about a product.

H&R DRS spacers are available with a hub-centric ring machined into the spacer, which is a big part of what prevents vibrations. Another factor that helps is the fact that H&R spacers are manufactured for your specific vehicle so the PCD (bolt pattern) and wheel stud diameter are exact.

thanks for the inputs, yeah I buy all my parts through you guy's when i had my 350z. I think the rear offsets are +35, So i'm not sure if 15mm or 20mm would be ok.

I was also wondering, should I get spacers that have the stud's built in or get the extended stud replacements?

Thanks for the support! Did you have a white Nismo? Also, without either knowing the exact offsets of your new wheels OR having you measure for fender clearance, it's hard to say how big of a spacer to run.

Depends on thickness. Anything over 15mm, I prefer to use the ones with studs built in to the spacer. For H&R, this is their DRM and DRA lines.

I prefer the the DRS type. Only an extra 15 mins
