Two options you might want to consider. Have you considered trading in your RX8? You'll reduce the sales tax on the Z. Or, do a sale of convenience if you feel you can get a higher sale price selling privately. As for mpg, whatever our friends get south of the border, just multiply it by 1.2 as we have imperial gallons up here in Canada. I just did a recent trip to Tennessee, 7500 kms return, and averaged about 9.3l/100km (~29mpg imperial) cruising at 120km/hr average.
