What are you getting upset about?
Everyone knows the 370z has very bad throttle response. I don't have that issue on my G37, also Eng over heating I don't have that issue. You can get Sport/Nav Touring, I just saying Nissan they need to up there game a bit and add more thing's. Look at the BMW M1 or Audi S4. I would pay $46K for 370z that looks like NISMO with all the touring goods. The Next Gen NISMO should be 375HP with a GT package, BMW Audi and others offer so many nice options and packages for there cars. The next Infiniti IPL will be about $70K and have from what I have heard over 400hp. The GT-R is $95K they can come out with a $50K NISMO Z with much better setup and better paint work. The NISMO Z needs to be the real deal! and keep up with BMW and Audi. Quote:

What you would pay for and what will happen are two different things. I mean seriously. A NISMO with power seats and nav???? You gotta be kidding me right? First go look up why the NISMO was built and designed in the first place. Then think about that reason and then post. As for throttle response. Well my 11 has much better throttle response than my 09 Z and my 09 G. Acceleration is better and you can feel the difference in weight between the two. The 1 foot wheelbase drop makes aHUGE performance difference in corners. So I don't even know why you want to start comparing on that level. The only thing the G has over the Z is better highway stability over 130mph. Don't ask how I know. You want better response? Buy a sprint booster. You like the look of the NISMO??? Buy an N54 body kit. You haven't driven the 11's and 12's so you really don't know what has improved or gotten worse. Super Moderator... work your magic! This is not about G vs Z, this is about the NISMO 370z being on the same level at BMW M1 or Audi S4.
Also for your INFO! I have 08 350Z NISMO number#1448 with custom mat paint work, that I track. My first Z was a 2006 GT and I also owned a 2007 G35 GT and 2009 G37S 6MT. I just want Nissan to come up with better version of the NISMO. Look at the Cayman S it's priced under the 911 and it has leather/Nav and a tack pack option. What is wrong with a 370GT NISMO with Leather/Nav heated seats?? Oh wait the Japan spec 370z NISMO has that!! But not the US! The Japan spec Autech built NISMO 350z has Leather/Nav Quote:

Here's what I'd want for 2013 nismo seam welded chassis Serious bucket seats that allow harnesses Cross beam that allows harnesses to be attached True coil over suspension Camber and toe adjustable suspension arms Real clutch type LSD Lightweight door panels Stereo and AC delete option Motorsports level oil cooler Automatic clutch type tranny like Porsches use Nice lightweight aluminum hat rotors with lightweight Brembo calipers with performance tuned abs system 3.8 liter direct injection motor Paint the car with real paint - gosh Nissan paint sucks! Get the car to 3000 lbs Fix the blasted fuel starve issue That would pretty much smash anything in under $50k category Last edited by Shamu; 12-23-2011 at 02:41 PM. |

Is it selfish of me to not want any significant changes in the '13 model because I just bought a '12?

That's a nice list.
But funny thing is if you look at the BMW M1, 0-60mph in 4.8secs 356HP /3,296 pounds and has lot stuff in it. Why is that the 370z NISMO can't do that? Quote:
