Boofsquire Roof Racks Looking for DC Area 370Z Owner
Hi guys,
We're looking for a Washington, DC area 370Z owner that is interested in trading us some quality time with their Z in exchange for one of our new roof rack systems. There have been a few posts on this forum about our Roof Rack System for the 350Z, but up until now we had not developed a system for the 370Z. We've started getting more inquiries about the 370Z, but need access to car for measurements and photoshoot. If you're one of those unfortunate owners in the DC area torn between the car they wanted and the sports they need... drop me a line either through boofsquire.com or the message system on this forum. We'd need two meetings, one for the sizing and a second for a photoshoot with the rack on the car. Your car gets (kinda) famous and you keep the roof rack system. Thanks, Matt Founder Boofsquire Roof Racks

Matt,
Make sure it fits the ones with a rear spoiler (sports package) as well and I might be getting one of your racks once I receive the 370Z I have on order. |

That's a primary concern we'll be taking into account with the 370Z design. The spoiler got bigger and the hatch got shorter, but I doubt it will take much of a redesign.

So when is one for the 370z going to be released? I will buy one asap. Been trying to figure out how to carry my Stumpjumper FSR on my 370z. The only option was a Saris Bones with some accessory attachments but it looks like it would break the rear glass and scratch the paint. Please hurry. Soooo ready to buy one.

The Saris Bones racks are great, but they definitely weren't built with the Z in mind, which is how our whole roof rack business got started.
That FSR looks a nice bike, I'm looking at grabbing a new MTB soon since my previous machine gave up the ghost. I expect the new system for the 370Z to launch in around three weeks. I'll drop another post on the form when the site goes up. Quote:

Trying to get this beauty on top of the other beauty:
The FSR was upgraded with some carbon fiber levered Elixir CR brakes and X.O. Shifters. Plus 203mm rotors front and rear for more stopping power. Original was 185mm and 160mm. Only thing that worries me is because Avid uses DOT 5 brake fluid, if I do a sloppy job bleeding the lines, it will get all over the paint. |

Nice bicycle! /\ I have a old shimano bicycle. I gotta clean it up.
Similar to this style but different color. Very fast bicycle.

Quick update on the new 370Z system -
Steve stopped by yesterday and I was able to grab measurement off his 370Z for the new rack system. Looks like our existing design will just require some minor dimensional tweaks to fit on the 370Z. Interestingly, the base dimensions of the hatch are almost exactly the same as the 350Z, the major differences are styling lines that require moving the tower contact points. I gotta say the 370Z's styling has really grown on me, just the interior upgrade is enough to make me want to get rid of the 350. That's the first car I would ever consider getting in red (that didn't have a prancing horse on the hood). It really seems like this is what the 350Z should have been when it was launched back in '03.
