All the critics to the 370 had no substance to their dislike. They simply criticized the 350z and assumed that the 370z is going to be a newer version. And we all know what happens when we assume.
It seems a little preemptive to criticize a car that they have not driven yet. And personally I think they are upset because the 370z will beat their front wheel drive celica's on the track.

It's always the same. One is in love with a car and the other cars are ugly and undrivable.
I would like to see more passion and less stupidity.

I would have to agree. As much as I love my T23 Celica Its time for more power, nicer finish, and RWD. I will miss the mpg, but honestly you don't buy the Z because its economical, you buy it because you love it.
