Default Few questions about returning to stock

Hey everyone, much as it saddens me to say it, looks like I'll be parting ways with the Z within the next few months after 3 years of ownership. Now I need to get my Z back to stock form but not before I get the following replaced to stock: wheels(tires remounted, TPMS swapped over from current wheels), control arms, springs, intakes, cats, and cbe.

So how much am I roughly looking at far as labor costs? Are most shops out there capable of handling this task without catastrophic failure? As much as I'd like to take my Z to a reputable shop, I get the impression that they don't really want to be bothered with installations other than installations for new sales.

Shops make money from service too. Give them a call.

If a shop put them on why not remove new and install the old parts for about what it cost the first time. Granted cutting holes for the intakes took longer.

If you self installed, still call around and see who wants a little extra work. Maybe 4 hours labor. I'm guessing a bit. I had everything installed for me because it was inexpensive.

on some things you are better off leaving them on as labor can be as much as the thing. ie Eibach springs. HFC's are also a pain to install/remove. Wheels/intakes/spacers not so much.

It's going to be expensive. Body shops always rip off.

I just back to stock myself; intake, cats, cat back, sways, wheels, oil cooler. I sold all the parts to three of my Z friends and we did the swap ourselves last sunday. I cut them all very good deals on all the parts so everyone was willing to do the work.

btw, places like carmax will give you the price for the factory parts if you place it in the truck. just let them know during the apprasial that you have them.

they've been pretty reasonable to work with for me. sold 3 cars there.
