Found a prize in my left airbox
Where do I get this redeemed? /sarcasm I don't know how a GM parts bag got in my airbox but I'm guessing it's the dealer's doing when they were putting the car together since this is the first time I ever opened the airbox. |

Strange
Very strange since they normally do not assemble here in the US. 370 and GTR are ordered....and assembled in JP then shipped here. At least, when I ordered mine, my dealer told me it would take 3 months to get since they dont put them together here in the US. I can believe it. The Japanese QA is above and beyond what we have in the US. Dont want the icon blemished due to poor craftsmanship.
Gotta think you somehow sucked that up haulin more *** than 4 fat chicks in a Volkswagon.

Most automotive components are made in factories where the components of several manufacturers are made. (For example -- Honda and Toyota suspension parts are made in the same factory a couple of miles from here.) It wouldn't surprise me at all to discover that multiple manufacturers have their airboxes and/or air filters and attendant plumbing made in the same factory. It would be far more surprising to discover that Nissan has a dedicated facility that only makes Nissan airboxes.
Non-story. |

Well I'm not too familiar with the layout of the airbox but I highly doubt it got sucked in somehow.
Hopefully I can score some bailout money with this ticket. |

I'm voting 'sucked in' as well. The front grill's area is pretty small and there is a LOT of air going through it. I've found the grill to be a magnet for flying paper on the roads...pulled into my apartment parking space with a full page of a newspaper sucked onto the black grill. When/IF you ever pull the front bumper, you'll see that the intakes for the two airboxes are quite small. If you're accelerating, I'm sure there is a quite a whirlwind going through those small holes...making your car a vacuum cleaner.

Sucked in for sure. I pulled some leaves out of mine the other day.
