Default GT-R 3.8 vs 370z 3.7

This may have been discussed before but are there any major differences (outside of the .1 liters) between the 6 in the GT-R vs the 370Z? Again outside of the obvious things like the TT setup.

Pistons, rods, studs, intake manifold are all different and thats barely touching the tip of the iceberg.

Two completely different animals. The die hard Z guys (such as myself) will tell you that with enough time, effort and funds the Z can be made to be way faster and more fun to drive. The GT-R, hey look its extremely fast but if you want the car to do everything for you and you can be the car's accessory by all means. No soul, even if I had the $ right now I wouldn't get one.

And the die hard GT-R guys will tell you that with an Alpha 4 mod nothing on the planet will even come close to matching that performance for a street car (1/4 mile in the high 8's) - and that also equates to more fun to drive.

I want to pull that quote from the bummer thread about how 60-120 is the only pull data that matters...and you might be able beat a gtr there

The engine for every GT-R is hand-made. The Z...not so much.

I would kill to do an engine/tranny swap of the GTR in a Z.
