Deer are a menace. I have been lucky and only hit two ever. One with zero damage. Sorry for you, but certainly not totaled.

My only deer-car experience was when I ran over an already dead one in a Triumph Spitfire back in 1978. It happened on 101 just north of Garberville at around 2 AM. I was driving back home form a Jethro Tull concert in Oakland.

i will post up more pics after work but stopped by the body shop on the way back from lunch and here's what is broken so far:

Hood
Front Bumper
Drivers Front Fender
Both hood hinges
Drivers head lamp destroyed
Passenger head lamp cracked housing
Drivers side fender skirt
Passenger side Apillar lower tabs broken preventing it from being secured
Radiator support
Drivers side air box
misc retainers/fasteners...

Not broken but will need paint due to scraping of adjacent pieces:
Drivers Door
Passenger front fender

Still awaiting my rental and full cost of the estimate

Wow, that's a lot of stuff :icon14: Hope it gets fixed soon and perfectly!

I'm more of a Guinness Draught fan myself.:yum:

$5625 estimate total, I'm sure it will climb higher as they tear into it...

Wow, looks like Bambi did a number on you. Any chance insurance will let you substitute some aftermarket stuff?

Sucks bro. I hit a deer back in August. My Z took it suprisingly well for the speed I was going. Just got it fixed a few weeks ago, finally. All you could really notice was a slight crease in my hood. Repair was almost 3k though. Good luck with your repair, glad you and your beer are ok.

I had four deer bolt in front of me in my residential area just a few mornings ago. Luckily I was able to see them coming and slow down in time. Glad you were not injured though and you will drive the Z another day. It sucks beyond imagination I'm sure. Hang in there!

At least the Guinness was okay, it'll help with the damages.

nope:ugh2: got the body shop to get a no quote on stock of aftermarket parts which is basically saying he can't get them

How about a Nismo front conversion? A yellow Nismo body kit would be sick.
