Default Aftermarket parts from Nissan?

Hey guys, first excuse me if I'm posting this under the incorrect area, but i need to get this question out there.

I wanted to buy what is labeled a "Rear Deck Lid" Spoiler on Nissan's 370z accessories webpage. I called my local Nissan dealership and it didn't sound like he knew what i was talking about.

So i was wondering, of course i bring my Z in, and i was wondering what i do from there, Do i go to the parts section of the dealership and they have some sort of magical catalog of parts waiting for me to sort through?

Thanks in advance, for either your help, or your patience with what might be a nooby question.
-Alex
Edit:Here is the link, it's under the NISMO section,http://www.nissanusa.com/zcoupe/accessories.html.

If your dealership is that stupid then I would bring a photo and possibly an instructional video.

What colour is your Z? I have a mint condition new in box Sport Spoiler, never mounted for sale for less than half of the one in that link.

It's painted Magnetic Black.

Fire me a PM if you're interested I can send pics...

I often get a blank stare when asking for anything for the car. I bought some of the "plugs" that go in the rear deck that a cargo net would attach to and if I hadn't looked up the part number myself, it's hard telling what I would have gotten.
Just doesn't seem like most people want to spend any time at all in learning the specifics of their jobs. Not just car dealers, everywhere.

(Sorry. Minor rant over.)

Crud guys, correction. I am actually inquiring about buying the NISMO version of the "rear deck lid" spoiler, which you will find on the link I posted if you scroll down more.

Sorry for the misunderstanding Jjaden.

Do you want the NISMO aftermarket or NISMO stock spoiler? Do you currently have a sport package? If you do and want the stock NISMO spoiler? Mounting points are different so if you order the OEM part? It will mean you will have to drill new holes and cover the old ones. Hence, your Z is now damaged. EVO R makes a replica with the sport pkg mounting points. The EVO version is also a little bit wider and taller which I think would make it look better plus its 40% cheaper. Just something to consider. If its aftermarket NISMO spoiler? You should be good with sport mounting holes.

I was looking at the stock spoiler, and I don't have the sports pkg on my Z.

I'm pretty sure it's obvious by now I don't have much of an idea of what I'm doing, but there's always room to learn, eh?

No doubt. That's what forums are for. Going stock is good most of the time. But some aftermarket parts are actually better than stock. One thing I would want you to consider before investing in nearly a ground to almost $2000 on a stock nisssan spoiler that doesn't help with downforce much is that same amount of money can help you gain good power or drastically improve handling. For 2k you can add a good coilover kit or you can get eibach proline springs with swaybars and a pro-alignment. And still have money left over for k &n filters, silicone hoses,HFC AND Y PIPE, or you can buy a complete exhaust and intake kit if you want to go that route? If you have base rims? Some aftermarket rims and wider tires would definately increase grip and handling. A proper LSD is a must as well. This is something base cars are lacking.
I don't want you to take my suggestions as knocking on your plans. But the stock NISMO spoiler is expensive. For that money there are plenty of much more useful first mods that can gain a good amount of performance.

Same here, it happened to me with the 350 and 370Z. The parts dep. don't have a clue of what your are talking about.
