The ZR1 is bloody fast in a straight line, but it needs more than 1/4 mile to be able to beat a GT-R. It traps quite a bit higher than Godzilla but it doesn't have enough track to pass it.
I seen this race happen in person. The ZR-1 does nothing in the quarter mile. It will take a one mile stretch for the ZR1 to make the GTR look weak. At around the half mile mark the vette superchargers kick in and just take off on the GTR making the GTR look underpowered and worthless. But who races more than a quarter mile on the drag strip????
And on a track? I think the GT-R will take a ZR-1 as well.
