Now if only it was RWD....
Yeah I think they're keeping the displacement at 2.5 L.

The Autocar article said that Nissan would continue the 370Z NOT make it electrice. Nissan is planning a new, smaller, electric sports car. NOT a Z replacement.

Doubt anything electric. It's all talk and rumors now. Only electric cars for now will like the Volt, Leaf, and Prius. I'm not sure if Nissan will find a brand new Z campaign anytime soon, especially with the low sales of 370z. You can still find brand new 2010's sitting around going into 2012. About a month ago when I was looking I saw a couple new 09 Z's sitting on lots.

Never said coal was any better.

I found another solution:

According to that, we wouldn't be changing motor oil, we would be changing battery fluid. And I think thats a good way to think of it, imagine the battery life increases that tech would allow? talk about saving some cheddar.

Changing "anode" fluid is one of the ways they've said we could actually use zinc-air batteries (normally they take a longer time to charge than lithium). This allows them to be "charged" within minutes instead of hours and could probably be set up at regular gas stations. It's important to try to use zinc because there just ins't enough lithium available to build enough batteries for a gazillion batteries. Zinc-air has more power, less weight, and is much more abundant/cheaper.
