370z brakes

This morning i had a guy make a left hand turn in front of me at an inersection and he cut it really close as i almost hit him. I could not belive that the guy behind him followed him through the intersecton.
This is the first time i ever had to slam on the brakes.
I have the racing brake 2 piece rotors and there pad on the front and back
Well did the car ever stop quickly! I was surprised how fast it stopped and i was in perfect control (it stopped dead straight). I miissed him buy 5 ft.
I was going 50 km/hour when i hit the brakes.
And the ***** **** still made his turn.
Some people have no respect for the rules of the road or other peoples lifes.
My car would have been a right off as i wouild have t boned him in the paseneger side.
The 370 z stop increadalby well.

I have noticed people tend to be really brave with cheap cars when they are cutting off more expensive cars. In my state, it's thanks to the relaxed insurance laws.

Yep... Probably would have stopped faster with the stock sport brakes. Race brakes are designed to be heated up to work more effectively & usually don't stop too good with regular street driving. I am glad disaster was avoided.

Last night I was inches away from hitting a deer at 50 mph and my brakes saved me as well, though I have the base brakes on my Z. Glad to hear you're safe though

Don't ever come to Miami. People don't look at you to determine if they can turn. They just look to acknowledge that your car is there and then pull out assuming you will brake. I've lost count how many times I've engaged abs living down here since last August.

fix for that is after you get the police report, go to their home and burn their house down. probably don't have home owners/renters insurance so its the best way of evening things out :icon18:

A near hit, averted?

Funny, I just had one today as well.
Coming to a light where I had the green, just as I crossed the intersection, this one car in the cross traffic, came to a stop and quickly bolted out right in front of me.
They either weren't paying any attention to what the hell they were doing, or they don't have a license and are driving without giving a damn about the road rules.
What is it with these idiots?!
