I would think that with a few more country club tournaments coming up, a down payment on a 458 Italia is a frugal idea.

I love Argentinian Beef!!!!! I once got a 1kg. steak, a couple sides and 3 beers for $25 with tip in Buenos Aires, and it was better than Ruth's Chris any day!!!!!

I was 16 with a pontiac fierro. never totaled a car, but the fierro, then the buick i got after both died. I loved that fierro. Such a fun and sexy car....just wouldn't let anybody lean on it to make sure the body didn't fall off

If you made money from investing in the ETFs for gold and silver, you were lucky for the runnup not smart just lucky. But remember, with gold still up 17% YTD and silver flat , commodities are very volitile at this point so watch out either for more corrections or runnups once the debt problems seem to be on there way to be solved around the world(Europe). Also , you'll pay taxes to both IRs and your state even though your still a kid, so put money aside for that. Good luck on the Z but dont get over your head. Buy the base model and go from there for the upgrades such as the stereo.

Now THIS is a touchy subject these days. What defines a good college education? I agree. A quick search shows that at the peak of silver prices (early this year at about $50/oz), he would have had to buy in a four month span at the end of 2008, or early 2006. Which would mean this kid was investing in precious metals at either 12 years old, or 10 years old. Unless all of his money went into a fund controlled by his parents, I'm calling shenanigans on a pre-teenage kid investing $30k in metals.
