OP, Please drive the car stock for one year before modding your car. Seriously, the car is quite fast as it stands. If you are planning on tracking it then get an after market oil cooler and leave it at that. The Z is a premium car.
BTW, I'm 31 and I get the "your too young" to drive the car. Get it, be happy, drive safe. That's all that matters. Oh yeah: Supercharger - Belt driven forced air induction Turbocharger - Exhaust driven forced air induction ... |

At 16 I wanted to go to Bob Bonduraunt driving school. Whatever car you buy will be better in your hands with some professional tutilage. Without the skill to master a Z, it's days are numbered.
Even a 240 or 280Z to screw around and learn with temporarilly, will keep your 370 in better shape. You do not need any mods yet either. You will not even appreciate them until you get a few more miles under your belt. Listen to some older, more experienced drivers and you will become old and experienced too. Not all my buddies are here today, because we were you and bulletproof, and didn't need a bunch of old farts telling us anything. Learn from other peoples mistakes. Good luck

I was barely 19 when i bough my brand new and ive been pulled over just bc cops think im spoiled to mess with me saying ur tints are too dark ur exhaust is too loud etc... but they feel like dumbasses when i pull out my id and shows im a Marine. but be careful out there and im guessing u can afford the insanely high insurance conidering ur buying this at 16

Alright after sorting through the nonconstructive post (RICharlie) I learned a lot from everybody. Now I most likely won't do any major things to it until at least a few thousand miles. And I may try to do a driving school since a few people suggested that. Which I can definitely see why (Whats the point of having a sports car that you suck at driving right? ) So thanks everyone :tippet: Have a good Thanksgiving

LOL, true true, but it also depends will OP be able to get a test drive first, or he'll just buy one anyway.
BTW, NissanUSA, any particular color or package you are thinking about?? If you are going to mod it eventually, I am wondering do you need to purchase the sports package.... |

Could you imagine being 16 with a 370Z right now?
