Not a happy customer
Long story short, took my car to a local tire shop to have one of the tires checked. There were several cars in line and the manager said there will be an hour wait before they can get to mine.
so i went outside for a smoke but for some reason they decided to do mine first and this is what i saw when i walk by the garage.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...vil202/gah.jpg i thought they are gonna use the lift with the adjustable arms and use the jack points.. but it was too late. am i over reacting? or is this just normal? no visible damage so far when i do a quick inspection.. |
Kind of iffy for myself. Never seen a lift of that type. But if there's no damage then no worries. Just go somewhere else next time.
|
To me thats BS. But if no damage just go to a different tire shop next time.
And i would tell the manager why |

Doesn't seem like a big deal.

What a horrible lift, that thing is hideous.
Go to a reputable shop who knows how to get your car on a lift properly and have them inspect the underside of the Z for any damage. If they find anything make sure to talk to a manager/owner of the tire shop and have them pay for it. |
which shop did you take it to that did this?
|
I'd kill the guy if I were you drag him in the back and shove an air gun up his butt and pull the trigger and then ask him for $20.00 for making him feel good.:bowrofl::roflpuke2:

I would also put it in this thread: http://www.the370z.com/southern-cali...ne-so-cal.html |
with this type of hoist/lift, they are supposed to put (usually) small wooden blocks where the jack points of the car are so the side skirts wont get into contact with the lift. at least that's how they do it here...

I doubt anything is damaged but go to another shop that doesn't have ghetto car lifts.
