How does the paint on the Z compare to that of the X?

I was just thinking about trading in my Z for the X MR. I want something with back seats, But can also get up and boogy....so i can actually go places with friends or pile up studio equipment into and go to a buddies house. But im really concerned about the reviews. The Z has given me ZERO problems, besides its non back seats and not enough room. Ive heard the engine in the X MR, is amazing super fast shifts and blast to drive, but interior sucks

It's not just the lack of quality parts in the interior of the sti/evo that I have a problem with, rather the feeling that you're driving a fast sedan instead of a dedicated sports car

Your right, i agree. I couldnt live with a poor quality interior, cuz i would be inside the car most of the time. Ive been through a RX-8 this year (not enough power & MPG was worse than a v-8 mustang.... but had back seats) and then got my Z. Which like i said is amazing, NO problems plus i got a 100,000 B2B warranty.

Im 22 y/o but maybe i should wait until my Z is paid off to actually go drop more money down. lol auto loans have gotten the best of me this year.

Keep the Z. The Evo doesn't sound like a good match if you're already complaining about the interior. The overall quality of the car doesn't touch the Z. SO happy I made the switch you have no idea.

That's up to you...

You'll most likely enjoy the way it drives/handles - it's a fun car. But if you're anything like me, the boy-racer look, cheap build quality/interior, and HORRIBLE Mitsu service will get to you and you'll be wishing you had Nissan back in your corner. At least that was how I felt.

The grass is always greener...

Just took my stock sti rallying a few days ago with my brother as co-driver, have not had that much fun in a car in awhile. So in my opinion it really matters what you're going to do with the car. If you like outdoor activities that involve driving to the desert or snow (a lot), then an evo may be a good choice. But if you stick to street driving mainly then stick with the Z for sure.

Just drive it. Different strokes for different folks so they say. I like both for different reasons. But honestly I'll be awd for life. Just more fun for me

So the Mitsubishi dealership was um...lets say not the greatest.... or up to date. And the service sucked, i was outside for 25 mins walking around no one came out to help. The dude when i called was like yeah your car is here waiting for you to test drive. Then when i got there.... They wouldn't even let me test drive one unless i qualified for the loan to own it? ??? OH yeah and not to mention, they sold the car yesterday, but told me to drive 45 miles to see them for it...but couldn't tell me it was sold.... I was like um...keeping my Z just b/c their service was shitty, i got a HUGE bad vibe from the experience.

And thats just the dealership. You don't even want to know what their service department is like. And if you have a warranty issue, forget about it...
