Worthless then...
Spent the better part of the day today with a buffer, scratch remover, and meguiars gold fixing the scratch. Some say "Its just a car".....but I protect and respect my investments. So I guess its worthless, cause I already fixed it.

NotmyGTR, sorry to hear about that. How deep are the scratches? Were you able to polish them out? My wife's car was keyed and I was able to polish most of it out with a rotary. It took a very long time, but I was able to do it. Used a few different types of pads and Meguiar's polishes but it mostly came out. The only time you can see it now is in sunlight from just 2-3 ft away if you already know where it is and if you're really looking for it. Don't give up, you might be able to fix it
EDIT: Argh, sorry, just looked closer and saw that you fixed it. Glad to hear that! |

My wife's car was keyed once too, but the damage was right down to the metal and required a paint job. Sucks when this happens, sorry to hear it happen to you.
