Stupid Bonzo Car Arrival Game
 

Okay, my car is scheduled for delivery the week of November 18th. We got to talking about it today at work and it became sort of a game. So I thought it might be kind of stupid fun to make it a game on here.

So, if you're so inclined to play along, please post your best guess with a date and time of day that my dealer calls me with the arrival news.

Who ever posts the closest time will receive a present from me. Not sure what yet, but I'll send you something Z related. U.S.A residents only please (at least to win the present), and you'll need to P.M. me your address once I announce the winner.

Well, you've described a normal fall Ohio day, so you could very well be right. But don't go specktin' any sort of super extra bonus gift for your efforts!!!! ;)

By the way all, I'm kinda hoping it gets here on 11/11/11. That would be an easy date to always remember. The sh*t would be if it came at 11:11 am that morning.

Kind of confused by the date...the week of usually is the first date of the week in question and I don't know of anybody that uses Friday as the first day of the week. :consfused: So is it supposed to deliver between 11/14 and 11/18? Or 11/18 on? Everyone else seems to get it. :tiphat:

Your guess is as good as mine. The vehicle detail sheet clearly says "ETA: WEEK OF 11/18/11". Perhaps in Japan they think of the week differently? My car was built on 9/25, which is a Sunday, so who knows. In my mind to keep it simple I have just been thinking the car will be delivered ON 11/18. So, hence the need for this stupid little game.

Since I know as of last week that it's in LIT status (=Land Transit), that means it's either on a train(s) or on a truck(s) making it's way East. Depending on how that all goes, it could really be here any time between now and the end of the month. The only indicator I have that it might be earlier rather than later is because my dealer has told me all the cars they have been getting in the last few months have been coming in at least a week, if not 2, earlier than the scheduled W/O date. I'm thinking this is Nissan pushing orders so they can brag they have more availability than Toyota & Honda. That's just pure speculation on my part.

Hopefully this gives you better information on which to vote your guestimated time. ;):icon17:

I'm swamped right now at work, so I'll get back with details later on who own and presents later, but I just got the call at 9:57 a.m this morning. The car is HERE!!!!!!!!

I'm going to check it out after work tonight. Until then they aren't doing anything to it at all.
