No one car has consistant times. Many factors make the numbers/stats different. First off, cars that see 13.1 to 13:5 consistantly will be automatics if launched properly under the right conditions such as weather, wind, load, oil and gas etc Manuals can vary greatly between conditions and overall driver skill. Driver's lack of skill will net you a range of 13.8 to well over 14 seconds. A skilled manual driver will be able to push a Z in as fast as 13.3. Modify the shifter to your preference and you may possibly maybe increase those times to rival the auto... maybe? |

the 1/4 mile time is the time it takes for the car to get from the starting line to the finish line.

that's only true if the the starting line and the finish line are a 1/4 mile away, sometimes it could be an 1/8 mile, or a 1/2 mile, or that mother of all miles, the 1 mile.

You should send b1adesofcha0s a PM.
He is the only one I know of who started off with a 12.9s 1/4mile time and progressed with slower and slower times as he added bolt-ons and took out parts for weight reduction... : P.S. Shahid don't key my car in the parking lot when you see it...
