Jeff Blue has spilled a lot of protein shakes on his interior and it was totally spotless when he sold it.

This is a good read and even better for us newer 370z owners...
lol I remember my 350 was falling apart before it was totaled. The seats were even getting "loose". When I would get out and push off the seat as support, I could feel the damn thing move. |

Bought my '09 new and put Katzkins leather in it. It remains perfect, gorgeous black leather with red trim.. The car itself is also perfect in every respect, as it is garaged in winter and used as DD only in good weather rest of year. Only have 8,000 mi. on the car and have never been back to the shop (oil changes at independent garage). Uses virtually no oil between changes and all interior areas are immaculate and wear free. No rattles. no nothin', though I admit I drive carefully and never race the car, etc. She's garage kept, covered in clear bra and has a good life. Will keep her as long as I remain able to enjoy this kind of car (now 63 yrs. old).

I plan on treating the 370Z similar, but will DD it in nice weather as it's much less of a target than a Z06. There are several 370Z's at my hospital. No other 'vettes. I don't want to be a target, as I work night shift and the parking-lot is poorly patrolled. |

The 370z is a DD for me and what I've noticed so far is that there are chips and other small damages to the front bumper. This is due to going on the freeway all the time to commute to work and such. It's too hard to keep the car free from any damage when it's your DD. Other than that, it works great. Until it snows again of course.

The reason it comes out to 60%+ of the car is that I want whole panels wrapped, not 1/3 or 1/4. I don't want "lines". |

I'm nearly at 35k (~1500 track miles) on my 09 sport. I've been really happy with it in the creak/rattle department and the only issues I've had to speak of have been related to things I've screwed with on the car. The paint is garbage though. Get a clear bra for sure. By the time I decided to cough up the money I had clear coat damage on the hood.
Seats are holding up very well and still holding me quite well. A couple of slightly discolored spots (that I think only I would notice) on the driver's seat from eating in the car on long trips. Feel like I'm forgetting to mention something.... hmm |

I did work for GM at the manufacturing level, I know exactly where you're coming from. Having said that all cars are going to have noises, wear differently, have problems unique to that car, etc. I find that the performance imports do it better. If I was buying a vette, I know going into it that I'm buying performance, period. Not luxury, that's just the way GM does it.
My "Z" is not a DD however it is solid over bumps, fun as hell to drive, has a simple yet comfortable interior, and looks to die for. I have never gotten more compliments on a car I've owned before and my dads 2011 Camaro is nonexistent to people if I park my Z next to him. Poor guy. lol. if you want the same performance as the vette, forget about it. If your looking for a reliable fun to drive car, you'll be happy with the Z.
