Variance in test data? I'm sure it's all well within the margin of error.

I understand variance, but 3300# and 275's out back being within .2g of 3300# and 325's out back and a dry-sump with lower CG in every test I have EVER seen for both the 370Z and Grand Sport that wasn't written with a "gravel on skidpad" disclaimer? The front tires on the Grand Sport are as wide as the rear's on the 370Z.

I haven't had the issue on mine, just trying to help. The penny trick is what? Glued a penny on each of the popers?

Cool that sounds much better than glue. So you just popped off the springboots (black poppers) put the pennies in and put them back on?

I went to the dealership to get mine fixed like 3 times, but it still keeps happening. Tried the penny trick and it helped a bit, but I couldn't get the 2nd spring boot off so only one of them has a penny in there. Since I'm getting close to the 36k mile mark, I will try and go to a different dealership to try and get it fixed. Maybe they can think of something.

Mine makes a noise while the gear is in neutral and it's gone when the clutch pedal is pressed all the way down. I can hear the noise everytime I started the car. Other than that, love the car. 9,500 mi DD.

That's extra weight right there, people spent $1000 to shave 1lb off their car with Carbon Fiber and fancy wheels .....
You guys need to lay off the whole benchracing thing. If you have a chance to drive both, you will know the difference. The Corvette is an extremely difficult car to drive. I owned a non Z06, but I have driven many Z06s and I can tell you they really put the scare in you at the track or even in a parking lot. Heck, I am afraid to drive it on the street. When you spin in a fast car, you hit things a lot harder as you slide a lot more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=vCWJEfoyLcQ Last edited by cossie1600; 10-28-2011 at 02:18 PM. |
