The rest is just nitpicky stuff that ANY car will have in one way or the other. ____ Anyway, total letdown today. There is only 1 car like what I want in the nation, and the dealership tried to trade for it but was told it was supposedly already sold: Gun Metallic 2012 6M NAV Sport Touring Black interior = Unobtainium ___________ Yes, an R8 would be awesome, but a house would be nicer...same for the ZR1 except it's just a Z06 with a different drive-line, and I want something a bit "nicer" inside--where I spend all my time. This is a preference move based on a desire to increase the amount I throw in savings/other hobbies each month. |

2012 Nissan 370Z Touring, $41,370 - Cars.com As far as what have you said. I'm not diggin into the archives to prove anything. N I'm not saying that as an insult. I just recall some convo's where my statement is correct. But even more than that. You are die hard fan of corvette performance. I think your long term assessment of our cars will be a valueable asset in the long run. What you said about the Z positive or negative isn't affecting or angering me. I'm just thinking you will be an interesting owner considering what you currently drive and what your many criticisms have been. I do know you have also praised the car for price to performance and build quality. I'm not taking away what you admire at the least. But you have been very flip floppy as far as your overall assessment of the Z as a performance car. |
Here's another right next door. They just want to sell you what they have. Gun metallic was the number one selling color last year. I own one. It was the only hot color available. I was looking for Mblue, BC or GM. I settled for last. GM is gorgeous though for a grey. The nicest grey I ever seen aside from 40th graphite.

I flip-flopped on the power aspect. The rest of my line has been that it's a very buttoned down little coupe with great looks and a $75K interior in a $40K priced vehicle. The oil-cooler fixed my other concern, and the brakes, well, I will cross that bridge if I get there. I doubt that, though. I agree, I am interested to know how I feel in a year once I get it, too. However, I will love the extra $500/mo or so from less note/insurance. I just realize that since I don't track my Z06, I'm not getting what I payed for. With the 370Z, that interior is going to enhance ownership experience a lot, vs. the Z06. The only time I will miss the Z06 is when power is an issue. Or if someone calls it a girly-car. Then I will have a bad time and probably not eat my supper. You will hear about it when I get home and post up. :roflpuke2: |

Also, NONE of these cars have NAV. If you find one like I want, PLEASE! link it, though. I will forward it to my dealer and attempt a dealer trade ASAP. They searched Nissan USA's dealer database and found only 1 like I wanted, as mentioned. I know you may be aggravated by me being so picky, but it's my work/money paying for it, and if I am trading a car I selected feature by feature and watched them build, I'm going to trade it on EXACTLY what I want. This may or may not seem petty to you. (If the car is optioned like I want, MSRP should be a touch over $42K) |
Oh u want nav. Ok you're not going to find nav till the spring. Lol. They always trade off to make you pay MSRP. Then in the spring they make it impossible to buy sport pkg's. You will need to order your car. They do this on purpose dude.

I have no clue what this is about, but that is how it was explained to me. The fact that 1 existed gives me hope, though. |
Why not install an aftermarket nav? It would be a lot nicer.
On the flip side... If you must have the oem then I'm sure a mechanic could install it for you. |

I had a car that was stripped to the unibody and built. I don't ever want that again. No part of it. I am strictly OEM+TINT+Wrap now. |

A lot of the times oem units will have all the plugs already there. All you/dealer will need to do is plug in the unit. Just have the dealer install it prior to pick up and then it will be just the same as if it came off the assemble line.
I can't confirm this because I don't have the nav unit to look at. ... I'm just throwing you an idea to speed everything up. |
